 Basic Spelling List   Click here for challenge words by story

     Your student's spelling program is individualized to his/her spelling skill.  The individual's list is a combination of basic third grade words, reading vocabulary words, most frequently used words , reading vocabulary and content area (science, social studies) words.  Below are the basic words dated for the Monday of the week it is used.  If your child has lost their list, homework practice for one night can be substituted with practice of these basic words.

         Remember to review your child's work and help them with any misspelled words they written.
