Guide--What do the books by the reviewers name mean?
| Abalos, Rafael. Grimpow |
 |
Attention! All readers must STOP and pay extremely close
attention to what I have to say. If you are looking for a good book,
Grimpow is the answer. It is about a young boy in the age of knights
who finds something hat will change his life forever, a dead body with a
strange stone. Join the boy Grimpow on his quest to find the secret of
the wise. On his way Grimpow meets friends, makes foes, and meets allies
I loved this book because of how the author used precise details and has
a way of making you feel as if you were in the book. This book is great
and do you know what? This book has part of reality in it because the
Knights Templar were real. Oh, and may I tell you, that if you don't
read this book, you'll never know what it's like to read the best book
on earth. |

| Fleischman, Sid. The Giant Rat of Sumatra |
 |
One of my favorite books was on the 2009 Literary High
Tea list. This book is Giant Rat of Sumatra.. It is about a cabin
boy and and the captain of his ship, Captain Gallows. They have to
protect a stash of emeralds from bandits. The setting of the story is on
the ship. The problem is that the cabin boy loses the beloved gems. My
favorite part in the story is that Captain Gallows gets into a pistol
fight. READ! |
